Whether you have fond, or not so fond memories from your teenage years, we can all admit that high school had its ups and downs. On the plus side, we got to see our friends everyday, on the other hand, we also had to face our biggest enemies everyday and come on, we all had at least one. And although high school was filled with several opportunities for extracurricular, you were kind of titled a loser if you were in any team or club outside of the athletics department. Yes, some actors or actresses became famous before or during their high school years, but many did not. Many of them were actually dorky, pimply theatre nerds who got made fun of when they said they wanted to be an actor when they grow up. Although today they are known as some of the highest-paid actors and actresses in the industry, they were once average and adorably awkward teenagers. However, they did all work their bottoms off to get to where they are today, and they are more than deserving of their fame. Ok but honestly if this girl really likes you that’s legit and everything, but often as a high school dude, middle school chicks will like you just because you’re older, and that doesn’t end up well. The maturity levels are way different, even in just 3 years.

Can a freshman in high school date a senior in high school? There’s a few things to take into account: No one would really care if the senior in question is dating someone who’s a year or two younger than him, …years is when people start raising a few eyebrows and talking, anything beyond 4 years is where people question your choice. At most, the age difference will be with an “X” variable which represe NT their birthday, time of starting school, held back, bumped up a grade, etc.
In some other states, it’s also extremely confusing.

Dec 14, 4: Upon graduation, my high school sweetheart and I left for different universities in the same city, vowing to stay together, no matter what. I resolved to survive the turkey drop. What was once was a comfortable refuge ultimately felt stifling, and the messy breakup regrettably tainted years of good memories for a long time after. But I had to do it and it was definitely worth it in the long run. You may have promised to stick together whether you were 30 or 3, miles apart, but the truth is, maintaining a long distance relationship is hard.
Your interests will change and so will his.
I was sitting in my dorm room, studying for midterms on a Friday night — not because I had to but because it legitimately felt like the best option available. This place is swarming with complete strangers who are nice and smart but will probably never be your people. Of course, I would soon realize that feeling socially frustrated is a pretty common first semester freshman year experience and not an actual prediction of the next four years.
While partying in college may be relatively straightforward, the process of making new, authentic friends is uniquely challenging in a way that nobody really prepares you for. The key thing to remember is that most freshmen struggle to make new friends, albeit to varying degrees.
Back to Top Post by beanbuddymom on Nov 10, When I say it “varies” it varies from the “text and hold hands, walk to class and that’s about it” to “being at each other’s house all the time and do stuff with family”, and then there is the type of couple that “netflix and chill” intimate. So it really varies at this age – there are more of the first case and second case thankfully – it really depends on the person and also the level of who the other person is i.
Thankfully my DD was in the text and hold hands and walk to class and that’s about it category and thats all she says she really wants or has time for. I don’t see a lot of group “dates” or one on one “dates” going on at that age or to be honest at any age – it’s mostly a hangout thing, either at each other’s house or going to do stuff together – we live rural so that’s typically at this time of year going to fairs and pumkin patch and halloween haunted things and movies.
No “dinner” dates unless it’s going to Panera after something else they’re going to or a coffee place or at the mall. I guess maybe it’s friends with benefits I guess – not quite sure. I don’t know how much of that was going on in her freshman class or if it was upperclassman.

Don’t worry, for pretty much everyone it’s a combo of both. So if you do any of these things, just know that you’re not alone. You can’t get your locker to open. You tried writing the instructions and combination on your hand, but it got smeared after gym class, and now you don’t know if that’s a two or a three. Not that you have any idea how to open your locker anyway. Who can keep up with “turn it backwards twice then forward once, then go past zero”—too much!
You actually bring all of your books to class. Even if you could open your locker, you have no idea where your next class is let alone how to get back to your locker during the couple of minutes between classes, so you break your back carrying around five huge textbooks. With that overstuffed backpack, you might as well have freshman written across your back.
